MITR Healthcare hospital was started on 10th May 2009. Since then, more than 600 surgeries have already been completed (May, 2011).The hospital has a highly specialized and state of art of operation theatre with epoxy flooring and PU painted walls for complete infection control. The Laparoscopic equipment consists of a temperature regulated Carbon-dioxide Insufflator, Xenon Light Source and 3-Chip Camera, all from Karl Storz, Germany. The handheld instruments include a range of Adult & Pediatric Laparoscopic hand instruments and telescopes. Also, there is a high end C-arm in the operation theatre. For advanced laparoscopic surgeries, the hospital has a Harmonic Scalpel from Johnson & Johnson. Urological equipment consists of Cystoscope, Adult & Pediatric Semi rigid Ureterorenoscopes and a high end 30watt Holmium Laser and a flexible Ureterorenoscope also. With this kind of expertise and equipmentation, MITR is slated to be the first advanced Laser Surgery hospital of Navi Mumbai and Raigad area. The adjacent recovery room to the OT has a central oxygen supply for post-operative patients. To ensure uninterrupted power supply the Hospital has backup power generation UPS of more than 30 KVA capacity. |

Experienced RMO’s, Staff Nurses and Paramedical staff is available for services round the clock. There is an in-house medical store. An adjacent pathological laboratory serves for any emergency investigations. The hospital also has got formal tie-ups with renowned diagnostics laboratories & other related service providers for priority diagnostics & imaging services. |
